| |  After my husband passed away I decided to return to my native Australia. I lived in the States for 30 years and I have moved 7 times in those years. For each sale of my home I used the services of a real estate agent. My only wish is that I had used Chris for every move. I lived alone in Florida and all of my surviving family is in Australia or Chicago and I was really worried how I was going to handle this move. Chris took my worries and removed them all. He contacted the shipping company and arranged to have an overseas container reserved, he retained a moving company for me and he even arranged my garage sale prior to my departure. He saved me money by negotiating the best price from these companies and he helped the movers load the truck. At the last minute the closing was delayed and Chris offered to have me stay with he and his lovely wife but I could not impose and chose to stay in a local hotel until my home closed. Chris arranged the hotel arrangements as well. My last night in Florida was a bittersweet one as I felt I was leaving my new family behind. (Chris and Karen Marie) Chris and Karen Marie took me out for dinner and we toasted to a safe journey. The next morning at 5:00 am, Chris was at the hotel and he took me to the Orlando Airport where he checked my luggage for me and escorted me to the gate where we said good-bye. We talk on the phone from time to time and rest assured that Chris and his wife will aways have a room in my home when they come to visit me in AustraliaAnn DerKacy, Sydney, Australia | |
| We can not stress enough the faith we had in Chris Charman, our agent in Florida. He was TOPS in our book, he went over the extra mile. He was there for us whenever. Never can there be another to live up to what he did which we are sure he does for all of his clients. He handled our relocation, arranged for us to meet with another agent in Virginia, he even helped us pack our moving truck...Chris made us feel comfortable all the time.
